Job Profile:
To ensure the site is provided with a comprehensive facilities management service including maintenance, repair and renovations, emergency response, health and safety, vehicles, environment and site services within approved budget
Keeps in compliance with and abreast of all Government regulations, building codes and other governmental and regulatory requirements, including our HS&E requirement.
· To prepare, gain agreement for and control a budget to provide the whole site with a comprehensive range of services in line with business needs
· To develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program, arrange supply of external services and manage service level agreements covering maintenance and repair of buildings and site, security, telephone exchange, catering, ( specify any other)
· To arrange supply of utilities, negotiate and manage contracts and ensure cost effective utilisation of all supplies, including but not limited to, utility contracts, janitorial services, and maintenance contracts; trouble shooting, as needed.
· Manages new equipment specification approval for compliance with tech centre requirements.
· Arranges and manages installation and connection of services to new equipment installed in the facility.
· Regularly conducts site inspections, and interacts with employees regarding issues of maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds.
· To manage all aspects of health, safety and environment ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and observance of best practice, such as :
o Emergency response team
o Safe working environment
o Hazardous material management
o ISO 14000 compliance
· To fulfil the role of Risk Management Committee, ensuring all arrangements are in place to deal effectively and safely with any emergency evacuation, such as fire evacuation and disaster response policies and procedures, as is appropriate to the respective worksites, providing training on safety issues, scheduling and monitoring the regular evacuation exercises.
· To manage the supply and allocation of company vehicles ensuring pool cars are maintained, safe and legally compliant.
· To maintain up to date records for statutory needs and to ensure management have the data to make sound objective decisions
· Develop and maintain effective working relationship with,facility landlord and Property Management Office.,the Public Utilities (Electricity, water, sewage etc.), ensuring their actions are conducted in the best interests of out client.
· Collaborates with Human Resource Manager for office repair and maintenance projects. Manages office layouts, office allocation and space utilization in conjunction with HR, functional directors etc.
· Manages security provision for the facility to mitigate unauthorized use of company property or its theft, securing of the property against unauthorized entry. |
