Ensuring the business has all the financial processes and information to effectively manage Asian growth.

Identify and recommend business opportunities to achieve profitable growth and long term shareholder value.
The Requirements
Principally responsible for all finance, administration and IT matters in the Asian region.
Appropriate qualifications with CA/CPA/CIMA designations (MBA will be well regarded) and a minimum of 10 years post qualifying experience and a demonstrated track record of managing a finance function ideally within listed manufacturing/distribution organizations or similar which have undergone extensive growth.
Extensive experience of utilising strategic planning and financial analysis to drive the continual process of change and achieve growth objectives.
Maintenance of high standard of internal control for all Asian entities. Proactively ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act throughout the Asian entities.
A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage relationships.
Problem solving, strong technical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, pro active and hands on, strong commercial acumen, deadline and outcome oriented and the ability to identify with corporate culture.
Energetic and results oriented, you will thrive in a changing environment with a proven track record of managing a team.
Highly computer literate with an aptitude for implementing and streamlining systems.
Responsibilities - Key Goals and Objectives
Oversee and supervise the preparation and completion of all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statement submissions for Singapore, Malaysia and China.
To assist and support Business Unit Managers and Directors in financial and commercial matters.
Focus on Balanced Scorecard and Brunswick Value Added metric with regard to working capital management, DSOs, inventory turns and strategic growth initiatives.
Provide financial feedback to Business Unit Managers and Directors. Ensure feedback to Business Unit Managers on inventory, DSOs, cash flows and all pertinent KPIs to drive continual improvements.
Leadership role in SOX compliance and IFRS implementation for all Asian entities.
Responsible for all the financial control of all Asian entities, taxation (direct & indirect), treasury management, strategic management accounting, implementing internal controls and policies, financial reporting, lisison with auditors, financial planning & budgeting, management of information system. |
