China General Manager
Age of person required between 25 – 45 years Old
Based in the Guangdong Area China. Working for a UK Company specialising in Contract Furniture.
Fluent Spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese are essential.
The candidate must have worked in the Furniture Trade and have a minimum of two years experience. The candidate must be prepared to travel.
The ideal candidate will have basic selling skills, good quality control skills and have experience in managing people. They will be a good leader and very ambitious to progress within The Company.
The successful candidate will be expected over time, to build a team around them to quality control existing production of wood furniture, metal furniture, printed brochures, and fabric. Our current capacity is 10 – 20 containers per month increasing by 25% per year. They will also be expected to source new products and recommend alternative suppliers. The successful candidate will eventually be responsible for managing an Office, Showroom and Warehouse facility where we can show our customers and consolidate containers. This facility will service our trading company as well as our warehouse in the UK.
Salary is to be discussed and depends on experience. All travel expenses and office expenses will be paid.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel to the UK for one month before the role in China commences for initial training and will be required to visit the UK twice a year for re-training.
