Job Responsibilities:
1. Effectiveness of local user experience
Quality controls, validates and adapts centrally translated content and messaging for increased effectiveness in the local market. Continuously optimises local hyper linking and information availability in collaboration with product divisions.
2. Execution of standard internet activities
Ensures timely and accurate execution of regular activities from all divisions and corporate, as defined by the internet Board. Manages and reports on the completion of activities using the online management tool (the CIM Portal).
3. Knowledge sharing across divisions
Facilitates regular communication between divisions to increase knowledge sharing and improve coordination. Looks for opportunities to collaborate and pool activities. Ensures a single company face to the online user.
4. Compliance with internet standards and policies
Checks and follows up to ensure that the local internet presence adheres to all internet standards and policies as approved by the Internet Board. Coordinates with global teams from GMM and product divisions to ensure that this happens.
5. Coordination of local internet activities
Acts as the hub in a network of people managing and maintaining the local internet presence. Ensures regular formal coordination of online and offline marketing activities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing spend. This area is not mandatory for “Country Web Masters.”
6. Local internet marketing projects
Defines, scopes and manages local projects. This area is not mandatory for “Country Web Masters.”
