Job Responsibilities:
- Performs assigned and implied tasks in accordance with the Shanghai Safety and Quality Procedures at all times; assists in enforcing safety requirements in maintenance work procedures.
- Directly responsible for the performance and/or supervision of:
a) preventive maintenance
b) corrective maintenance
c) calibrations
d) engineering project support
- Serves as primary maintenance section troubleshooting coordinator for identification and analysis of corrective maintenance problems with all processing equipment.
- Supervises assigned and detailed maintenance personnel; assists in their training.
- Supervises contract maintenance projects to ensure timely, cost-efficient, and safe completion of work.
- Works with Operations Manager and Operators to ensure that corrective maintenance and scheduled maintenance is coordinated with production requirements.
- Completes work reports, as assigned; communicates information on breakdowns and status of repairs in a timely manner to the Maintenance Manager/GM.
- Assists in identifying/managing essential spare parts for critical processing equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the GM.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years experience in factory maintenance
- Good English language skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Good organizational and planning capabilities
- Technical degree required; mechanical engineering desirable
- Training in electrical systems installation and maintenance
- Certification as electrical technician
- Boiler operations certification desirable
- Knowledge of calibration would be an asset
