POSITION:
Business Development Manager (BDM)
Major Account Sales – Aerospace & Aviation industry
PROFILE:
The individual is a business consultant, familiar with the systems and processes of a discrete manufacturer. The individual may have had experience implementing SAP, BAAN, Oracle, enterprise applications or PDM. Consultants having worked within Strategic Services Organizations or Sales Reps having a business strategy-focused approach to consultative selling are appropriate profiles as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Developing the Business Case Definition inclusive of ROI, phased roll out, project plans and solution architecture for strategic alignment.
Must be able to supply value-added contributions to the sales campaign strategy and account plan as it evolves among the Sales Team. Particular to the account plan contributions, this person should monitor the focus given to a customer's strategic initiatives, the tactics required to achieve them, and the competitive positioning needed throughout the process. As a direct report to the Area VP, this person is to be proactive in the education of the Sales Team on matters of value proposition for the vertical market in particular or as enhancements to the product line create new selling opportunities.
Must be able to formulate, articulate and present the Value Propositions of solutions as it pertains to the highest level initiatives of a corporation while communicating the essence of partnership to both the customer and incumbent System Integrator. Should be capable of handling a project leadership role in the accomplishment of a pre-sales engagement deliverable like a Business Process Analysis Workshop or Technical Proof of Concept.
As a post implementation engagement, the individual will leverage relationships developed in the pre sales engagement to extract metrics pertaining to the success of the solution set we had provided. |
