Summary:
Responsible for all large Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) sales and service in China. Manages the outside field sales force and the inside customer sales organization.
JOB DUTIES:
Recommends sales staffing needs to adequately cover the OEM markets in CN.
Responsible for training of OEM sales staff and conducting performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
Assigns sales territories to sales personnel, establishing specific goals and objectives.
Provides appropriate support, guidance and correction or discipline to those under his direction.
Reviews market information to determine customer needs, volume potential, and price schedules in keeping with the corporate directions.
Prepares monthly reports covering all significant issues, including
a) sales activity,
b) new markets, customer or product opportunities or problems,
c) personnel problems and
d) competitive activity.
Responsible for recommending annually the OEM sales forecast and OEM sales growth in CN and the travel and entertainment budget for the OEM Sales staff.
Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
Prepares monthly reports covering all significant issues, including
a) sales activity,
b) new markets, customer or product opportunities or problems,
c) personnel problems and
d) competitive activity.
Requirement:
A four year college degree in marketing or business and a strong understanding of sales and marketing,
Significant related experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of five years experience in sales management or similar position.
Must be proficient in English both written and verbal.
Must have a high degree of integrity, ethics, reliability, motivation, organization, energy and enthusiasm.
Must have a moderate level of technical aptitude in order to effectively communicate with customers and Accuride engineering on product and application requirements.
Must know Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Must become familiar will all aspects of ISO 9001 and will require specific training depending on the customer base |
