• Driving, supervising and reviewing technology diagnosis and assessment activities
• Identifying opportunities for technology-related improvement based on benchmark data and doing high-level cost benefit analysis
• Developing a high level design which supports a robust technology solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements, etc.
• Driving technology architecture and infrastructure design activities
• Reviewing and supervising design components
• Developing design and transition approaches
• Driving and supervising technology build, test and deployment activities
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development
PROFESSIONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in Infrastructure Planning and Transformation, Mobility, Messaging, Desktop Management, Command Center and Customer Support, Database Technologies, Data Center Consolidation, Servers, Storage, Infrastructure Strategy, Assessment and Management, Storage Consolidation, Server Consolidation, Database Conversion, Availability Management (HP, Mercury, BMC, CA, IBM, Veritas), Capacity Management, Automated Provisioning, Business Service Management (BSM), Service Level Management, Service Catalog, Problem Management, IT Help Desk/Service Desk (Peregrine, BMC Remedy, Siebel, HP, CA), Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, IT Service Continuity, IT Asset Management, Autodiscovery, Operations Maturity Model (OMM) Assessment
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
